How the walkthrough works

We use the time to answer the operating question.

The goal is not to run through every screen. It is to show how Deckpass would fit the people, devices, vessel rules, and arrival pressure you actually manage.

  1. 01

    Tell us the operating context

Share the vessel, yard period, contractor volume, current arrival process, or management objective that matters most.

  2. 02

    We prepare the right workflow

The walkthrough is shaped around your priorities, including the kiosk, crew workspace, badges, printer route, oversight, and rollout.

  3. 03

    Leave with a clear decision

You receive a practical recommendation for a vessel trial, a guided rollout, further technical review, or a candid no-fit answer.

Bring the operating reality

Useful for one vessel, a yard period, or a management rollout.

Deckpass is most valuable when arrivals are operationally important: contractor-heavy days, refits, maintenance windows, guest movements, or a management team that needs a better record across the vessel workflow.

Before you request

Practical answers for a useful first conversation.

Everything needed for the first review can be discussed remotely. There is no hardware commitment and no requirement to start a trial first.

01How long is a Deckpass walkthrough?

Most introductory walkthroughs take about 30 minutes. More detailed deployment reviews can be scheduled when the vessel, hardware, or management structure needs deeper preparation.

02Who should join the call?

The most useful attendees are usually the captain, purser, chief officer, SSO, yacht manager, or the person responsible for gangway arrivals and visitor records. A technical colleague can join when printer or onboard hosting choices are part of the review.

03Can the walkthrough cover a yard or refit period?

Yes. Deckpass can be reviewed specifically against expected contractor volumes, changing company rosters, arrival checkpoints, badge handling, work areas, hosts, and supervisory reporting during a yard or refit period.

04Do we need to prepare hardware before the call?

No. Existing tablets, computers, scanners, cameras, badge stock, and printer queues can be discussed during the walkthrough. The Brother QL-570 is a proven recommended printer, but Deckpass does not require that one model.

05Can we start without booking a walkthrough?

Yes. A vessel can begin the 7-day setup trial directly from the pricing page. The walkthrough is available for teams that want to review fit, operating rules, or deployment choices first.
