Yes. The crew can import expected people with company, host, work-area, and visit details before traffic starts, then review exceptions instead of rebuilding the roster at the gangway.
02How does Deckpass handle returning contractors?
Returning people remain searchable in the workspace. The operator can confirm the current visit, apply the vessel rules, and prepare the badge without treating every repeat arrival as a completely new record.
03What happens when yard connectivity is unreliable?
Deckpass supports connectivity-resilient vessel workflows. A vessel-hosted deployment can keep the core arrival and badge path local, while an online workspace can use the restricted Deckpass Local Bridge to dispatch authorised print jobs through the onboard printer computer.
04Does a vessel need a Brother QL-570 printer?
No. The Brother QL-570 with DK-11202 label stock is Deckpass’s proven recommendation, not a requirement. Other supported Brother QL and Zebra printer profiles can be selected and physically tested during setup.
